Empowering Parents & Carers

Come see what we're all about & how we make a difference

Warrington Parents & Carers Forum is a voluntary group of enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced parents, carers, grandparents and family members of children and young people aged of 0-25 years with disabilities and additional needs.

Our mission

  • Our aim is to make sure that SEND services in Warrington meet the needs of children, young people and their families
  • Empower our members and ensure their voices are heard at a local, regional and national level
  • To deliver better outcomes for families living with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • Create a culture of participation and co-production across Education, Health, Social care and voluntary sectors.
  • Inspire those we work with on your behalf, through sharing good practice and knowledge.

Whether you are at the start of your journey or several years down the line, we are here for YOU and want to be able to support YOU to have your say and make a difference.

As the designated local Parent and Carer forum, we are funded by the Department for Education. You can find out more about the DFE at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-education. Our role is to gather the views and lived experiences of Parents and Carers, on behalf of their children and young people, who use SEND services across Education, Health and Social Care in Warrington.
