Cheshire & Warrington Carers Centre is a registered charity providing information, advice and support to anyone providing care and support on a regular basis to a family member or friend. The Centre supports unpaid carers living in Cheshire West, Cheshire East and Warrington.

Drop-in support through coffee mornings and events are held throughout many towns and villages across all three boroughs and, in Warrington, the charity has an office at The Gateway.

Some of the services available to carers, including parents and carers of children and young people who have additional needs, are available to carers living in different localities subject to where the service has been funded from. Some services are only available to carers of adults.

The easiest way to find out about support available or to make individual enquiries is to call the free phone helpline which is available Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm. Tel: 0800 085 0307 FREE. Alternatively email advice@cheshirecarerscentre.org.uk or visit the website www.carers.org/cheshire. The website lists the centre’s outreach office addresses and opening times.

The Cheshire & Warrington Carers Centre recognises that parents and carers of children and young people may have different needs to those who are caring for adults or older people and therefore offers a dedicated service to provide information, advice and support to parent carers. Parent Carer Support is available to families living in Warrington. The Parent Carer Support Service works closely with Warrington Parents and Carers to work in partnership to improve the future for children, young people and their families.
