These are used a lot with autism, but can be helpful to explain situations for many of our children

Social Media Content
Social media can be quite distressing for our children, aswell as for us as parents! Here’s a few links that we’ve useful:
Fox Wood Special school are posting a daily occupational therapy idea video on their Facebook page.
Addvanced Solutions Facebook Page has lots of useful links for our families. Their regular meet ups are on hold at the moment, but they can still be contacted for phone / one to one sessions.
Purple Ella is a disabled youtuber with autism. She’s created a lot of content to make sense of the world, including THIS ONE on covid-19
Joe Wicks has become a very popular coach, as he’s started releasing PE lessons for those at home
Educational Websites
https://www.twinkl.co.uk/ Has lots of resources by key stage. The site is currently running a free offer for membership, which you can access using code CVDTWINKLHELPS. There is a separate section for SEND learners.
THE EDUCATIONAL APP STORE has a list of apps for varying needs, some are free, but some are paid for – let us know if you find any of these useful.
