How can we help?

Reaching out to all our parents and carers

Hi all,

As time goes on, life in lockdown is becoming increasingly difficult for many of our families.  We want to make sure that you’re getting the support that you need, and to find ways for us to keep in touch with you.

With this in mind, we have created a very quick survey so that you can let us know how things are going under the headings of education, health and social care. We have also asked how you would like us to run our online sessions in the future, to make these as accessible as possible.

Please CLICK HERE to complete our survey.

Facebook Live

We’re going to try out our first “Facebook Live” session this Wednesday at 7pm – all are welcome to join us.

The theme for this week is “Reasons to be cheerful A-Z”  Whilst life is a bit struggly at the moment, there’s stuff that we can do to bring a little sunshine into our lives, so we’re gonna steal the popular rainbow motif to focus on the positives – the stuff that we have to be grateful for.

Click on the rainbow to download a printable version if you want to play along.

Mini Quiz

For those that missed these on our Facebook chats, here’s a couple of mini quizzes for you to try out – the first is of Warrington areas, the second is of our schools – good luck!

We are working on a separate mailshot to bring our families up to date with local services in Warrington. This will include:
  • Frequently Asked Questions regarding SEND life in the current climate
  • Update on services available, and how to access them
  • An introduction from our new Designated Clinical Officer
  • Future plans for WarrPAC
If there is any information that you would like to see included in this mailing, then please email Sharon, our development officer, by CLICKING HERE.
Apart from our online sessions, mentioned within the survey, Team WarrPAC are still available to field email, messenger and telephone calls.  Here is the information from our previous mailshot with our contact details:Like everyone, Team WarrPAC are safe at home with their young uns, but we’re available to chat to any of our members so that we can be there for each other.  We’ve made the decision to share three of our phone numbers, as well as our email addresses so that you can get in touch. If we don’t happen to be free, leave a message and we’ll get back to you 💚
Jean, our chair, is safe at home with the marvellous Marcus!  If you want to drop her an email it’s jeanchair@warrpac.org, or you can ring her on 07769 971191.
Sharon, our development officer, is enjoying the company of the lovely Maisie and Poppy.  Her email address is devofficer@warrpac.org.  She’s got the main WarrPAC phone – 07581 302172
Here’s our vice-chair Gail and her son Matthew remembering a different life when they could go to bars lol!  We’ll get there again, but until then you’re welcome to email her on gail@warrpac.org or ring 07941 306574.
The rest of Team WarrPAC are also doing their bit, picking up Facebook messages and emails.  We’ve not got all the answers, but can signpost to those that have and are happy to chat and share the load.
