A parents guide for what to do if you are concerned about your child’s development

Is your child age 0 – 5? Are you concerned about their development? Warrington Parents and Carers have worked with parents and Warrington Borough Council to co-produce this simple and helpful guide for parents. Designed to be a first stop source of information for parents of children aged 0-5 years who are starting to have concerns about their child’s development, the document contains information about the support available and where and how to access it as well as roles and responsibilities of education and childcare settings, Warrington Borough Council and other services your child may need/access.

This document, which was co-produced by Parents, Warrington Borough Council and Warrington parents & Carers, provides guidance on the support available to children in Warrington, who have SEND or a developmental delay; this has been created in line with the SEND Code of Practice 2015. It is intended to provide clear advice and guidance for parents and carers.
