Use your voice to influence change across Education, Health and Care Services
As Chair and a Parent/Carer myself, I am delighted to welcome you to the Warrington Parents and Carers Forum (WarrPAC) website.
As Warrington designated, an independent, inclusive and diverse forum, WarrPAC believes you, our Parents and Carers are key to improving the life chances of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We want all parents and carers to be well supported and have accurate access to timely information, advice and guidance. We do this in several ways, which you will learn as you navigate the site.
We have a great team that’s dedicated, passionate, funny, fun-loving and selfless. This with a strong team structure, good leadership and a fast-growing membership means we can continue representing your voice to the best of our ability. Best Wishes, Jean Fitzpatrick, Chair.”
Warrington Parents and Carers (WarrPAC) started in 2008 following on from the "Aiming High for Disabled Children" government initiative. At this time, every region in England developed a local parent carer voice, funded by the Department for Education.
Over time, we became a constituted group, but as the work of parent participation and co-production has grown so much in recent years, in 2025 we moved to become a CIC - a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. You can see all of our incorporation documents, and any subsequent filings, on the Companies House website, registration number 15892554 HERE.
We work closely with our local parent carer forums, as well as the National Network of Parent Carers, to ensure that all feedback and information that we receive from our members is passed on to our local partners and becomes part of the wider parent carer voice.
